2:30-4 pm, Saturday, October 9, 2010, Milton Rhodes Center for the Arts, Sawtooth Building in downtown Winston-Salem.
Afterward
This blog will follow the participants some time afterward because for them, their lives and challenges continue when the event is over, for good or bad, and for whatever excitement and interest might be generated by it.
We hope you will appreciate the earnestness and talents of our local refugees, and understand they are eager to participate in the greater Piedmont community except for lack of opportunities to demonstrate their abilities, connect to mainstream Americans, and overcome cultural and language isolation.
