I measure success by how many connections are made by the participants of DATS MashUp and resulting opportunities. DATS MashUp was conceived not as an end itself, but as a means to an end — that end being the social connection of refugees and immigrants, many of who suffer from cultural and linguistic isolation, to American mainstream culture.
